Major in Automotive Engineering
Formal education degree program is conducted at Gazi University Faculty of Technology Automotive Engineering Department. Students who have graduated from vocational technical education institutions are placed in mtok quota and 30% quota is allocated. Students from mtok quota with students from the normal quota is no difference the diploma. There are 60 daily industry internships required for graduation from the department. at the 4th class; there workplace internship training in the fall and spring semesters.
Double Major and Minor Programmes
A Double Major is a single degree programme, in which a student satisfies the requirements of two Majors. It is conceived as an opportunity for students to broaden their knowledge and capacities by pursuing a second Major alongside their primary Major. It may be taken in the same faculty that offers the primary major or from a different Faculty. A student who enrolled for double major program must be taken least 36 credits from the other program courses. A minor is defined as an academic program of at least 18 credits that supplements a major. A minor program may consist of course work in a single area or from several disciplines. Students may enroll in a minor or double major program no earlier than their third and no later than their fifth semester. The prospective student's cumulative GPA must be equal or more than 3.50 at the beginning of the 3rd semester, 3.25 at the beginning of 4th semester and 3.00 at the beginning of the 5th semester for each program. Minor degree programs are available Energy System Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Electrical-Electronical Engineering Departments. Double majors degree programs are available Energy System Engineering, Electrical-Electronical Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering Departments.
