The Academic Deficiency Program

The academic deficiency program is a program aiming at correcting the academic deficiencies of students and enabling them to adjust to the program they have applied to Master or Doctoral program. An academic deficiency program lasts maximum one academic year (two semesters). This period is not included in the maximum duration of education for the concerned graduate program.The total amount of course credits in an academic deficiency program may not exceed 18 credits (6 courses). For master or  doctoral studies consists of undergraduate level courses and these credits are not included in the course load of the concerned the program. For students to be deemed successful in an academic deficiency program and start their graduate studies, they must earn at least the letter grade CC in the undergraduate courses. These courses will be determined by the student's advisor. 

During the course selection period, students who taken academic deficiency program should fill the Form-19 on https://fbe.gazi.edu.tr/view/page/157654?siteUri=fbe and be approved by Chair of Automotive Engineering Department. After it must be submitted to Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences.
